Terms of Use

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the PicFix mobile application and the website at photo-restore.app (together, the "Service"). PicFix is operated by Redsprint Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom. By using PicFix you agree to these Terms.
1. Using PicFix
PicFix lets you submit photos for AI-powered restoration. You can use the Service for any photo you own or have permission to process. You must be at least 13 years old to use PicFix.
2. Your content
You keep all rights to the photos you submit and to the restored versions PicFix produces from them. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display your photos and their restored outputs solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your photos to train machine learning models.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PicFix to create, upload, share, or distribute any content that is:
- Illegal or violates any applicable laws or regulations.
- Abusive, hateful, threatening, or discriminatory.
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, or containing nudity, including but not limited to non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn"), digitally generated intimate imagery of real persons, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm, or harassment.
- Misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory.
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Consent and rights of individuals in photos. You represent and warrant that you have the right to use any photo you upload. For photos of living individuals, you must have their consent or a reasonable basis to use their likeness (such as being their family member or having their permission). You must not upload photos of any person for the purpose of harassing, stalking, shaming, or violating their dignity. For historical or archival photos where consent cannot be obtained, you are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful and respectful.
Zero tolerance for sexual content. We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy for sexually explicit or pornographic content. Any account found uploading, generating, or attempting to generate sexual content, particularly non-consensual intimate imagery or any content involving minors, will be immediately and permanently terminated without notice. We may report such activity to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
You further agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service or its API.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Circumvent any security measures, rate limits, or access controls.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated. If our systems detect prohibited content or use, your credits may still be deducted.
4. Credits, subscriptions, and refunds
PicFix is free to download. Restorations are paid for either through one-time credit packs or through a recurring subscription. All payments are handled by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Credits purchased in a one-time pack do not expire while your account is active. Refunds are handled by Apple; we are not able to issue refunds directly.
5. Service Availability and Quality
PicFix depends on third-party AI model providers and cloud infrastructure to deliver restorations. Like any internet-connected app, occasional outages or slowdowns at those providers can affect PicFix and are outside our control. We aim to keep the Service available and fast, but it is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees.
Restoration quality depends on the underlying AI model. We use state-of-the-art models and keep updating to the best available, but AI is probabilistic and can sometimes make mistakes. Some variation between results is expected and is part of how the technology works. If you find the restorations you are getting are consistently poor, please contact support and we will take a look.
6. Intellectual property
The PicFix name, logo, app, website, and underlying software are owned by Redsprint Ltd. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redsprint Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damages will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Termination
You can stop using PicFix at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harming us or other users.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
